Senior Orchestra

The Senior Orchestra is our advanced orchestra, featuring students aged 14-18. The level of technical expertise and musicianship allows them to perform a wide variety of the great orchestral literature from overtures to concertos to symphonies. Sectionals are held at least once per concert set with professional musicians to help enrich and encourage the students. Rehearsals are Fridays 6:30-9:30pm at the Joan Pisani Community Center in Saratoga, Ca. Additional rehearsals will be added at the Music Director’s discretion.

In additional to our four annual concerts, the Senior Orchestra also goes on international Tours every other year. Past tours have included Spain, Italy, China, and Korea. For more information visit the Tour page.

Every August the Senior Orchestra will also gather in the foothills of Santa Cruz for Summer Camp. There our musicians will have intensive rehearsals, sectionals, and musical instruction with our coaches to prepare for the upcoming season, as well as socialize and develop friendships which will carry them throughout the season.
